How serious are you about improving your golf game? I must admit that when I reached a certain level I found it almost impossible to improve any further. No matter how many tips and coaching instruction I got I just couldn't seem to push past that all time best score. Oh sure, I got close which just gave me enough incentive to have another crack at it the following week.

Hands up if the following scenario sounds familiar to you: you have just had a bunch of lessons with a golf coach who has run you through the pros and cons of the golf swing. You then hit the driving range and after a couple of sessions you are feeling almost invincible. It's time for game day, or in most cases, including mine, a round with your mates. After the initial bartering of side wagers, you tee off and bingo!... right down the middle of the fairway. Things are looking pretty good. Three holes into the round and you are holding your own.
Then it happens...that mis-guided slice into the trees and you "curse" the shot. By the time you've eventually putted the ball into the hole, what started out as a par 4 has turned into a costly 9 over par 13. Ouch! You are virtually out of play as far as the side wagers are concerned, so you think... "the pressure is now off...I can have a bit of fun."
Hold on. Didn't you just spent a couple of hundred bucks on some lessons? Didn't you just get a whole bunch of golf swing help? Come on, you played one bad hole; now you're going back to the old ways?
Therein lies the difference. Hey, I should know, I've been there before. Many times. Attitude will make or break any level of golfer. In today's day and age we want things to happen quickly; we want them to happen now. It doesn't work that way with golf. As a beginner or novice you will certainly make rapid improvement. You will get to a certain mark fairly quickly. But folks, to get to the next level: the quality level and quality doesn't have to mean under par, it's what ever level you desire to reach, you need to have the right attitude or the right outlook.
So what level are you at? What level do you want to take your game to? If you are in the market for golf swing help then by all means pursue it. But remember, it's not just about technique it's also about attitude.
