Golf Resorts Offer After Dark Entertainment

golf resort

Not everyone at golf resorts play golf when they travel and while some members of the party are on the course, there is plenty for the rest of the group to do. Most facilities inviting travel to their top line courses also offer many other activities for those who do not participate in the sport as well as for after-game entertainment.

For example, travel to golf resorts that have as many as eight championship courses allows the play of a different 18 holes every day of the vacation. Typically, a group of golfers will get together for this type of trip and spend a few days on the courses, just to get away from everyday stress. However, many families may spend time at golf resorts and while the golfers hit the links, others can swim, play tennis or visit the spa.

In the evening, there is usually plenty to keep people occupied and entertained with restaurants and shows at the resort or in a nearby community. Several places have been opened around many of the golf resorts, forming an entertainment complex where the focus is on anything but golf, especially in the evenings.

A few of the golf resorts also have at least one course that is home to events for professional golfers and many weekend warriors jump at the chance to play the same courses they see on televised PGA events. While many of these courses are members-only country clubs, a few offer their grounds as part of packages for special travel events.

Many of the golf resorts are located near attractive vacation spots and offer more than just a great golf experience. Ocean breezes and spectacular scenery surround many of the courses and family members can enjoy their stay in five-star hotels while the golfers are on the course. The nightlife can be exceptional as many match the cuisine and styles of the surrounding areas. Whether you are in the United States or another country, golf resorts offer local attractions to make everyone’s stay memorable.

While there will be many other activities in which to participate, the main attraction at golf resorts are the golf courses. Most are considered some of the finest courses in the land designed by famous former golfers, such as Jack Nicklaus, as well as having the best-kept grounds and playing conditions on a consistent basis. The experience of playing on a top-notch course at golf resorts will stay with the golfer long after the game is over.

Whether experiencing the time at golf resorts with the entire family or with a group of golfing friends, most should be planned well in advance. Tee times can be scheduled in advance along with motel reservations and nightlife entertainment. Most accept pre-payment for the entire trip so all the attendees have to do is show up and enjoy their stay.

golf resort

Mexico has often been visited by tourists for its beautiful beaches. Annually, millions of tourists come to Mexico in hopes of vacationing on some the hottest beaches in the world. While most tourists are vacationing at overcrowded beaches, you could be staying at a Mexican golf resort.

As with all other well known destinations, Mexico has a huge number of golf resorts to choose from. In fact, there are so many golf resorts that you may be wondering how you are going to pick which one is for you. Your first step should be to look over the well known courses in the area you are looking to stay. Below is a look of three top rated golf resorts that you can find in Mexico.

The Casa del Mar Golf Resort and Spa is located in Cabo San Lucas. Although being a rather small golf resort, it is also one of the best in all of Mexico. The small resort setting often makes it a good getaway for those looking for more of a private resort.

The Casa del Mar Golf Resort is most famously known for their Robert Trent Jones golf course. In addition to their well-known golf course, facilities include beaches, spas, beauty salons, pools, and tennis courts. As with most other golf resorts in Mexico, the Casa del Mar Golf Course caters to those who love to golf and all the beachgoers who love to just sit back and tan on the beach.

The Isle Navidad Golf Course, Marina and Resort is not only one of the best golf resorts in Mexico, it is one of the best and top rated beach resorts. The resort is located in Manazanillo. Well known beach activities include snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing. The snorkeling around Mexico is some of the best in the world and will leave you stunned at the beauty of the water and the world beneath it. There are all kinds of reefs and corals that you can snorkel around.

The fishing here is also very good offshore and inshore. You can catch all kinds of fish ranging from grouper in the Caribbean to marlin in the pacific. Most resorts most likely have a charter boat that you can go out on, that will take you to their favorite fishing spots where they catch only the biggest and best of everything. Another thing you might be able to do here is dive offshore if you can get certified. If you can get certified before you go do it because you’ll be able to witness way better things then you would have snorkeling.

Here Are The Things You Need To Know When Choosing A Golf Academy

golf resort

Playing the game of golf is a great past time, and improving upon your game by attending one of the many golfing schools in 2, 3, or 5 day programs is a great investment. There are a number of great golfing schools throughout the U.S. in beautiful tourist friendly states like California, Nevada, Arizona, and Florida that provide an excellent atmosphere to play the game.

Most schools are even connected with a luxurious resort so you can plan a vacation around your golf education that will be fun for the whole family. There are also corporate golf programs that offer courses in golf geared towards business that are willing to hold their next corporate meeting at the resort locations.

Names like Bird Golf, Balance Point, National Golf, Ritson Sole, and Arnold Palmer Academy have many locations in the U.S., and have gained the respect of the golfing community by providing their students with the qualified and personal approach it requires to teach a variety of different skill levels how to play the game well.

There is another side of golfing education, however, that goes beyond a simple desire to learn to play the game correctly. For the more serious career oriented golfer there are a few golf academies that will provide you with the training to launch a golf management career in the business.

The San Diego Golf Academy is one such accredited golf university that offers a two year associate s degree in golf management with the design to prepare golfers to not only learn and improve upon the way they play the game, but also to jumpstart a lifetime career in the many different managerial facets of the game.

San Diego Golf Academy offers a 16 month associate s degree program, and is the largest golf college of its kind. The SDGA has four campus locations: San Diego, Orlando, Phoenix, and Myrtle Beach; all gorgeous locations that have scenery and an atmosphere conducive to golf.

Most institutions, however, offer an associate s degree and various certification, but they do not offer a Bachelor s degree in the field of study. There other universities that do offer further golf education online that can lead to a bachelor s degree, but you are required to first attend an associate s degree program such as the one offered by SDGA before enrolling in the online program.

Virginia College is one college that offers a two year online course that will take your associate s degree training to the next level of business management. Virginia College prepares the golf businessperson for a career managing their own golf course or other golf related facilities. The program they offer helps improve critical thinking abilities, management training, and overall leadership development.

Not all golfing educations lead to being a pro golfer, and for the person who truly enjoys the game as a game, and would like a career option that does not rely so much on their personal skills as a golfer than perhaps golf management at one of these top golf academies would be the right option.
